A retired teacher in Kyrgyzstan sustains himself by farming his own land, while dedicating his leisure hours to writing poetry. He joyfully welcomes his daughter Gulzat, who comes every summer from Russia to help him. His personal world in which he lives and creates becomes smaller over the years.
