The traditional methods that are used to turnagricultural raw products – corn and grapes, into bread and wine (in Vale de Cambra in northern Portugal) revealnot only the alimentary culture but also social customs and ceremonies. Through a story that shows the process from baking bread in communal ovens, through crushing grapes and wine production, we learn about the origins of the final experience – consumption of food and beverages.
