Two fourteen-year-old children, Alexandra and Nonni, live in a small Romanian town. Their daily routine, which consists of going to school, studying, doing home duties and a little leisure time, is disturbed by a group of foreigners. In an old, abandoned school, the teenagers become friends with Ash and Jolien. Together they devise a picturesque space in which they will overcome language and cultural barriers and establish a common system of values through play and learning.
