This film presents a man named Pavle Perić, from village Gunjaci in the municipality Osečina, who unfortunately is not with us anymore. He spent his entire life in a rural area, working on his land and playing accordion. In his free time he started to make three-legged stools. Tronožac is a small wooden stool with three short legs, and in some olden good times every home had at least one such stool. This film will show us how a three-legged stool is made and what it is used for.
Milan Pantelić was born in 1981 from father Dobrivoje and mother Dobrila. He has been active in making films and reports for over 15 years. His father, Dobrivoje Pantelić, spent over 20 years recording life and customs of common folk of Western Serbia with his camera. Milan inherited his love toward ethnological and documentary films. So far the Pantelić family won 100 awards, both in this country and abroad. They are the only winners of plaque of the Yugoslav Film Archive for ethnological film in the entire former Yugoslavia. Every year they film over 80 stories from the region of Western Serbia and combine them into about a dozen documentary ethnological films. The entire family participates in the production, including: Milan Pantelić, his wife Sandra Pantelić, his mother Dobrila Pantelić and his children Dijana and Tanja Pantelić.
