What is a man, the life, its values, its meanings, its vows, its hardships, its beauties and joys!? This film, a kind of an arranged kaleidoscope composed of several stories, miniature vignettes, tends to reach some answers through this ode to the mountains, the mountain people, their wisdom and their experiences, expressing the uniqueness of Montenegrin rural people's ethos, the principles and values they adhere to, their steadfastness, and the beauty of their space under the stars.

 

Vladimir Perović is a film director whose creative documentaries won several awards at both national and international levels. He is a visiting professor at FDA Cetinje, Montenegro (2010-2021), the selector of the Montenegro Film Festival in Herceg Novi (2011-2018, 2024-ongoing), former selector of the International Festival of Ethnological Film, Belgrade (2020-2023) and a jury member in numerous festivals (Yugoslavia, Serbia, Montenegro, Iran, Germany, Russia, Romania, Macedonia). He lives in Belgrade, and makes his films both in Serbia and in Montenegro.
