The man from the frontier spent his whole life looking for the biggest fish that the blue Danube hides in its depths. For many years, every day at the first light of dawn, the old fisherman, patient and calm, has been trying to lure this river giant with a clonk while the Danube flows, and life flows as well. Two peers - one on the surface of the water, the other hidden in the depths of a mighty river, are waiting to finally meet. The old age closes the circle. The “Blue Frontier” is an impressionistic allegory of our relationship with nature. The film, based on humanity and generosity, re-examines the flight of time and the meaning of existence.

Ivan Milosavljević graduated in film editing at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. He has worked on several feature and documentary films as a VFX artist, editing assistant and editor.
