A personal approach to the exploration of the life of an ordinary woman in a foreign environment. The author, a young Albanian woman born in Slovenia, approached her grandma who lives in Albania with questions she has never asked her before. Distance doesn't allow them to have many honest conversations, but  there is still tenderness and deep acceptance from both sides. Stories from the past bring memories, and memories bring thoughts.

Arta Kroni is a second year student at University of Nova Gorica School of Arts. She is interested in communicating through unconventional visual and audio means. She is preparing her firstfictional short film which will bring her closer to experimental work.
