Two elders from the Otomí tradition have preserved their language, rituals and beliefs thanks to their commitment to the dreams. In a world where the metaphorical is as crucial as the material, the voices of these sages become a guide and a bridge between distant poles of knowledge. His reflections and their singing tradition portrait a landscape as inclusive as the air we breathe.
Salvador Martínez Chacruna is an Otomi anthropologist who speaks his native language and has mastered film in order to be able to transport the traditions and ideologies of his people. He has produced and directed two short films, and his first feature films Tzofo is in the postproduction stage.
