The specific way of transferring logs to mountain Kožuf and the lives of the people who do this hard work is the theme of this film. The difficult living and working conditions in the mountains at about 1,500 meters above sea level did not deter these people from spending their entire lives there. Over time and work they have developed a special attitude towards animals that help them perform their work tasks. The long existence of this profession has come to an end, no one deals with it anymore. Only memories remain.

Vladimir Bocev has a PhD in ethnology, and is an author of many ethnographic documentaries. His focus of interest are rituals, particularly with masks, such as carnivals and kurban. Since 2012 he organizes a festival of ethnological film in Kratovo, North Macedonia.
