The ghost of Eric Boman, a Swedish-Argentine archaeologist and anthropologist, returns to the site of his field studies in the Andean Puna. There he wanders through arid landscapes reflecting on humanity, its constant and futile struggle against time and the impossibility of understanding others. His memories and his dreams intertwine with his philosophical reflections until he meets another wandering ghost from his past: Carpanchay. Together they will seal their fates.

Rubén Guzmán is an independent filmmaker, university professor, researcher and curator of audiovisual arts and new technologies. He has developed a characteristic look that explores the interstices of genres, light and darkness. As a cinematographer he worked for the BBC, Discovery Channel and Canadian filmmaker Guy Maddin.
