The Magical World of Vlachs shows specific fragments of the Vlach culture on the territory of norteastern Serbia. Authors Aleksandar Repedžić, an ethnologist, and Anđela Đermanović, a visual artist, through research and participation with various interlocutors show: the myth of Muma paduri, the myth of the dragon, record a part of the custom of pomana (commemoration) –pouring water, and show a folklore performance of falling into trance. Through the animation, conversations, recording, and participating in the performance of the customs, authors talked about impressions from the field where the filmed phenomena are analyzed from an ethnological and cultural point of view.
