Yaid Bolaños, an indigenous Nasa anthropologist and teacher of his own language, at the age of 26, seeks to narrate in an experimental way the importance of preserving his native language – the Nasa Yuwe – in a complicated social context of the city, where the practices of its uses and customs are endangered due to the cultural shock that surviving in an increasingly modern and globalized world represents. However, in this short documentary he asserts that the nasa yuwe, being a carrier of knowledge, values and identity, determines the root and the culture of thinking from the heart.

Esteban Mateo Leguizamón Russi is a Colombian photographer, communicator, designer and documentary filmmaker. Founder and active member of Aica Colectivo for five years – Colombian production company focused on the creation of visual and audiovisual content with social and environmental value, used as a method of self-education, creation of memory and reflection. He has directed several national and international award-winning documentary projects with indigenous and afro-descendant communities in Colombia.
