Namarali charts Aboriginal artist Donny (Yorna) Woolagoodja’s quest to rekindle deep connections with his traditional ancestral culture. Yorna's spiritual beliefs revolve around the Wandjina –  creator beings whose images adorn the caves and rock ledges throughout the Kimberley in Western Australia.

Tim Mummery is an independent director, cinematographer, editor and video producer working across the documentary, news and feature mediums. Having been introduced to ethnography while studying Anthropology at the University of Western Australia, his documentary work focuses on collaborating with first nations artists.
