This film investigates how religiously we strive to connect with heroes from across the border, accept them, and reject our own heroes on religious grounds. The film depicts the filmmaker's own journey in attempting to discover what truly links nations. When he looks at it culturally, he notices that how it so much easier for people to accept anything that has religious connotation attached to it, not knowing it’s not even aboriginal to them to begin with. He ponders if this acceptance of a foreign culture results in an identity crisis as they confuse religion constitutes and culture.
Aghlab Shair is a filmmaker with six years of visual storytelling experience in directing, cinematography, as well as photography. He believes in creating value with his work, and feels that whatever he makes should have a good reason behind it.
