The authors of the film seek to present Skopje, highlighting the uniqueness of visual scenes and the variety of sounds that can be found throughout the city. Inspired by the 1920s’ and 1930s’ symphonies of cities, combined with the method of sensory ethnography, the authors seek to portray the city's identity by exploring the diversity of images and sounds in Skopje. The rhythm of the city is shown through geographically connected locations. Skopje offers an incredible variety of sensory impressions in just a few square kilometres.
